In November 2004, after years of competitive running and marathoning (sub 3 hour marathon),
I decided I wanted to find out what the triathlon craze was really all about. I knew the
toughest part for me would be swimming. I have never been a swimmer and I have always
been a little nervous about swimming with my head in the water. After only a few months
of coaching by Mark Peterson of Swimfast, I felt confident swimming! Mark is not only
an amazing swim coach, but he is a wonderful and fun person. The swim lessons not only
improve my stroke and my speed but they are a lot of fun as well, thanks to Mark!
The individual lessons and his personalized workouts allow you to progress as a
swimmer at your own pace. I am very grateful for all that Mark has done for me
and because of his help I am now excited, and not fearful, of entering a half-ironman
this summer. Thanks again, Mark!
