I started teaching myself how to swim in November of 2002 having never been a
swimmer. I had some success but then in September of 2003 I decided to train
for the IM and knew I needed to to get some help.
When I first started working
with Mark Peterson, I was afraid that I would have to learn everything all over
again and I did. But the great thing was that Mark got me back on track in a
much shorter period of time then I thought possible. Along with that, he was
also able to teach me bilateral breathing which I told myself I would never
be able to learn.
With Mark's coaching and encouragement, I was able to
improve my swim time and comfortably finish the 2.4 miles. Mark is a great
coach and trainer who brings out the best in his swimmers.
